About
I'm Tiago, a developer from Brusque, in the south of Brazil. I started writing code for fun; somewhere along the way it became my job. Six years in, what still hooks me is understanding how the whole system fits together.
As a developer, I read before I write. I'd rather understand a problem fully and solve it with less code than rush out something clever nobody can maintain. Code review is the part of the job I enjoy most, since it's where a team teaches itself. Complexity that exists only to impress gets on my nerves.
Outside work hours I'm usually tinkering with open source ideas, small tools I wish existed. I learn by building things and by teaching whatever I just figured out. And because I started in QA before ever writing production code, I still assume everything is broken until proven otherwise.
